FR Shady Habash, un jeune cinéaste de 24 ans a été emprisonné sans jugement en Égypte pendant plus de deux ans. Shady a été arrêté en mars 2018, après avoir réalisé un clip pour le musicien égyptien en exil Ramy Essam. La vidéo montre Essam, qui vit maintenant en Suède, en train de danser tout en critiquant le règne du président égyptien Sissi. Dans la vidéo, le musicien compare le président à une date ou «balaha», le nom d'un personnage d'un film de comédie populaire utilisé contre Sissi par ses détracteurs.

EN Shady Habash, a young film-maker had been imprisoned without trial in Egypt for more than two years. The young artist was detained in March 2018, after directing a music video for the exiled Egyptian rock musician Ramy Essam. The video sees Essam, who now lives in Sweden, dancing as he criticises the rule of Egyptian president Sisi, comparing him to a date or “balaha”, the name of a character in a popular comedy film used against Sisi by his critics.
