FR Cette réponse ponctuelle doit permettre de soutenir l’émergence d’œuvres artistiques que ce soit pendant, en réponse ou à la suite de cette période de crise. Ce projet s’attache à donner la voix et un cadre d’expression à des artistes issus d’univers variés, en faisant la part belle à des œuvres d’artistes émergents, dans l’optique de rendre « visibles » et « audibles » des acteurs culturels qui sont peu mis lumière et particulièrement exposés à cette crise.
L’objectif d’Africalia est d’attribuer 50 bourses avec une contribution de 1.500€ par artiste, dans ses pays d’intervention : Burkina Faso, Sénégal, République Démocratique du Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe et Ouganda. Réponse au Covid-19 « ici et maintenant » ou « penser le monde de demain »
« Ici et maintenant » : face à cette situation inédite, l’artiste propose une réflexion, un regard sur la société, une évasion, un message d’espoir…
« Penser le monde de demain » : dans une optique de participer à la construction d’un avenir plus durable et plus équitable au sortir de cette période « suspendue », l’artiste propose sa vision, ses questions, ses idées, sa créativité… Comment sera le monde de l’après-crise : pouvons-nous nous réinventer ?

EN This punctual response aims to support the production of artistic works during, in reaction to or following the crisis. The goal is to give a voice and a space for expression to artists from a variety of backgrounds, focusing on emerging artists’ works, with the aim of making cultural actors - who are little highlighted and particularly vulnerable to this crisis - "visible" and "audible" .
Africalia’s objective is to allocate 50 grants with a contribution of €1,500 per artist, in its countries of intervention: Burkina Faso, Senegal, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
