FR Un nouveau livre qui met en lumière le cinéma marocain est désormais dans les rayon des librairies. Son auteur, Jamal Bahmad, Professeur assistant de littérature et d'études culturelles au Département d'anglais de l'Université Mohamed V, l'a co-écrit avec Will Higbee et Flo Martin. Intitulé "Moroccan Cinema Uncut: Decentred Voices, Transnational Perspectives", le livre a été publié par le Edinburgh University Press.
Selon l'auteur, le livre est le fruit de nombreuses années de travail de terrain au Maroc, en France et au Royaume-Uni. Le projet de recherche a été financé par le 'Arts and Humanities Research Council au Royaume-Uni.
EN A new book that highlights Moroccan cinema is now on bookstore shelves. The author, Jamal Bahmad, an Assistant Professor of Literature and Cultural Studies in the English Department of Mohamed V University, co-wrote it with Will Higbee and Flo Martin. Entitled "Moroccan Cinema Uncut: Decentred Voices, Transnational Perspectives", the book was published by the Edinburgh University Press.
According to the author, the book is the result of many years of fieldwork in Morocco, France and the United Kingdom. The research project was funded by the 'Arts and Humanities Research Council in the UK.
