FR Le film kenyan «Tales Of The Accidental City» fait sa première mondiale au 64è Festival international du film de San Francisco du 09 au 18 Avril 2021. Tales of the Accidental City est un film expérimental dans lequel toute l’action se déroule au cours d'un appel Zoom. Il raconte l'histoire de quatre habitants de Nairobi qui se retrouvent coincés dans une classe de gestion de la colère après avoir été accusés par les tribunaux de divers délits.
Produit par Positively African, Tales of the Accidental City, adaptation d'une pièce de théâtre, est un portrait de Nairobi, mais reflète également de nombreuses villes africaines confrontées à la croissance démographique, aux inégalités économiques et à l'injustice sociale. Le film qui dure 55 minutes est également éligible pour recevoir un Golden Gate Award (GGA), l'un des honneurs les plus importants pour les artistes cinématographiques mondiaux émergents aux États-Unis, et un prix en espèces de 15 000 $.

Tales of the Accidental City is an experimental film in which all the action takes place on a Zoom call. It tells the story of four Nairobi residents who find themselves stuck together in an anger management class after being accused by the courts of various misdemeanors.
Produced by Positively African, Tales of the Accidental City an adaptation from a stage play is a portrait of Nairobi, but also mirrors many African cities challenged by population growth, economic inequality and social injustice. The film which runs for 55 minutes is also eligible to receive a Golden Gate Award (GGA), one of the most significant honors for emerging global film artists in the United States, and a $15,000 cash prize.
