FR Maïmouna Hélène Diarra, une comédienne malienne de renom, a tiré sa révérence ce jeudi 10 juin 2021. A la 25ème édition du FESPACO, en 2017, Hélène Diarra avait reçu un prix pour l’ensemble de sa carrière. C’est en 1975, qu’elle intègre l’Institut National des Arts de Bamako. A côté des tournées théâtrales, le cinéma devient sa deuxième passion. Maïmouna débute avec un rôle de figuration dans un film du réalisateur Souleymane Cissé. Elle jouera ensuite pour Cheikh Oumar Cissoko dans les films Nyamanton (1986), Finzan (1989) jusqu’à Guimba (1995, Etalon d’or, où elle joue l’épouse du héros) et La Genèse (1999). EN Maïmouna Hélène Diarra, renowned Malian actress, passed away this Thursday, June 10, 2021. At the 25th edition of FESPACO in 2017, Hélène Diarra received an award honoring her entire career. In 1975, she joined the National Institute of Arts in Bamako. Along with theatrical tours, cinema became her second passion. Maïmouna started with a role as an extra in a film by Souleymane Cissé.
