FR TIFF Talent Accelerator est un programme qui offre un mentorat tout au long de l'année à un groupe de femmes qui sont productrices, réalisatrices ou scénaristes émergentes au Canada. Une liste restreinte de candidates, créée grâce à un système de nomination interne à partir du réseau de contacts et d'anciens élèves du TIFF, est présentée à un comité qui sélectionne six femmes exceptionnelles : deux productrices, deux réalisatrices et deux scénaristes. Dans le but d'accélérer les carrières et les projets, TIFF Industry fournira une programmation pour stimuler le développement artistique, professionnel et de projet.
Parmi les 6 participantes au TIFF Talent Accelerator 2021, 4 proviennent de l’Afrique et sa diaspora :

EN TIFF Talent Accelerator is a program that provides year-round mentoring to a group of women who are emerging producers, directors or screenwriters in Canada. A shortlist of candidates, created through an internal nomination system from TIFF's network of contacts and alumni, is presented to a committee that selects six exceptional women: two producers, two directors and two screenwriters. With the aim of accelerating careers and projects, TIFF Industry will provide programming to stimulate artistic, professional and project development.
