FR Pointe Noire, la capitale économique du Congo a abrité un événement culturel majeur. Il s'agit de la 3ème édition du Quibdo Africa Film Festival (QUAFF) qui s’est tenue du 14 au 18 septembre 2021. C'est un festival de film qui met en lumière les productions africaines et de la diaspora. Le QAFF est né en Colombie pour répondre à un besoin pressant des afro-descendants de voir des contenus de leur continent d'origine. Projections de films, ateliers, conférences et expositions artistiques étaient au rendez-vous de cette rencontre cinématographique à cheval entre deux continents. Les organisateurs ont reçu 277 films et en ont sélectionné 47 pour la compétition officielle. Les lauréats ont été dévoilés au cours d'une soirée de gala, le 17 septembre, qui a aussi servi de cadre pour collecter des fonds en vue de soutenir l'évènement.

EN Pointe Noire, the economic capital of Congo hosted a major cultural event: The 3rd edition of the Quibdo Africa Film Festival (QUAFF) which took place from September 14 to 18, 2021. The film festival spotlights African and diaspora films and was born in Colombia in response to a pressing need for Afro-descendants to see content from their continent of origin. Film screenings, workshops, conferences and artistic exhibitions were featured during this cinematic rendezvous straddling two continents. The organizers received 277 films and selected 47 for the official competition. The winners were unveiled during a gala evening on September 17, which also served as a framework for fundraising in support of the event.
