FR Le « Great Lakes Creative Producers Lab » est un programme de développement de films de 5 jours qui vise à élargir les réseaux professionnels et à renforcer l'expertise des participants grâce à une série d'ateliers pratiques et de séances individuelles avec des mentors locaux et régionaux de l'industrie. Le programme résidentiel est conçu pour perfectionner les instincts créatifs des producteurs émergents et développer leurs compétences en communication et en résolution de problèmes à toutes les étapes de leur prochain projet de long métrage.
Le Lab a été développé par Aftales Film Hub et Kiasi Productions en collaboration avec l'Ambassade de France au Kenya. 5 mentors et 10 participants viendront des pays suivants (Kenya, Tanzanie, Rwanda, Ouganda et Burundi).
Comment s'inscrire:
1. Les candidats doivent soumettre les documents suivants pour examen dans un seul fichier PDF combiné :
2. Le synopsis et la logline du film (maximum 1 page).
3. Un traitement narratif (maximum 10 pages).
4. Statut et historique du projet.
5. Look book (si disponible).
6. La note d'intention du producteur (maximum 1 page).
7. Le curriculum vitae (axé sur la filmographie) du producteur.
8. La présentation de la société de production.
9. Haut de page du budget et plan de financement (en monnaie locale et en euros).
Exigences supplémentaires:
1. Une image haute résolution du producteur.
2. Une copie du passeport du producteur pour déterminer la preuve de citoyenneté.
3. Un lien Vimeo ou YouTube du dernier film du producteur, sous-titré en français ou en anglais (les courts et longs métrages sont acceptés).
Admissibilité:
1. Les candidats doivent avoir produit au moins deux courts métrages ou 1 long métrage de fiction ou de non-fiction, en tant que producteur créatif principal. Cela n'inclut pas les crédits d'associé ou de producteur exécutif.
2. Les candidats doivent avoir un projet de long métrage de fiction en développement.
3. Les candidats doivent avoir le droit légal (par voie de propriété, d'option ou d'accord de rattachement) de produire le scénario.
4. Les candidats ne peuvent pas être l'auteur ou le réalisateur du projet soumis.
5. Les candidats doivent être citoyens de l'un des pays éligibles énumérés ci-dessus.

EN The Great Lakes Creative Producers Lab is a 5 day film development program that aims at broadening the professional networks and producing expertise of participants through a series of hands-on workshops and one-on-one sessions with local and regional industry mentors. The residential program is designed to hone emerging producers’ creative instincts and evolve their communication and problem-solving skills at all stages of their next feature film project.
The Lab has been developed by Aftales Film Hub and Kiasi Productions in collaboration with the French Embassy in Kenya. There will be 10 mentees and 5 mentors. The mentees will come from the following countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi).
How to Apply:
1. Applicants must submit the following materials for consideration in one combined PDF file:
2. The synopsis and logline of the film (maximum 1 page).
3. A narrative treatment (maximum 10 pages).
4. Project status and history.
5. Look book (if available).
6. The producer’s note of intent (maximum 1 page).
7. The curriculum vitae (focused on the filmography) of the producer.
8. The presentation of the production company.
9. Budget top sheet and finance plan (in local currency and in euros).
Additional requirements:
1. A high resolution image of the producer.
2. A copy of the passport of the producer to determine proof of citizenship.
3. A Vimeo or YouTube link from the producer’s last film, subtitled in French or English (short films and feature films are accepted).
Eligibility:
1. Candidates must have produced at least two short films or 1 feature-length fiction or nonfiction film, as lead creative producer. This does not include associate, or executive producer credits.
2. Candidates must have a fiction feature film project in development.
3. Candidates must have the legal right (by way of ownership or option or attachment agreement) to produce the script.
4. Candidates may not be the writer or director of the submitted project.
5. Candidates must be citizens of one of the eligible countries listed above.
